What happens next at work?
Hallo from Heathrow, where I’m heading to New York to do some talks and interviews ahead of publication of the follow-up to The Nowhere Office really, my new book Working Assumptions which I’m delighted to say has been featured as a Book of the Month in the Financial Times this week!
The book is about work, humans, machines. It’s about how AI is making us rethink not only what we do, but how the generations approach technology differently.
And it looks at how entire preconceptions of wellbeing, culture and jobs have been upended by the twin forces of Covid19 and Generative AI and indeed other forms of advanced and advancing technologies (yes: the robots are now coming).
There is exclusive content such as audio extracts coming for paid subscribers as well as m y take on briefings and data I receive early if not exclusive (sometimes that too) sight of.
So if you are interested professionally in the world of work you might be interested in a paid subscription…
For now, please consider placing an order for Working Assumptions so you get it a week from today, as soon as it’s published (exciting).
My best
Julia
